Low Cost Shot Clinic
KASPA, in cooperation with the City of Killeen, Killeen Animal Control and Assisi Animal Refuge, hosted a low cost shot clinic at Killeen City Hall on June 23, 2007.

Dr. Laura Szeremi of Banfield Veterinary Clinic and her staff donated their time and supplies to vaccinate well over 200 dogs and cats. The event was scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m., but volunteers stayed until after 7 p.m. to finish vaccinating all pets that had arrived by 4 p.m. Killeen Animal Control issued city licenses free of charge to all pets who received rabies vaccinations.
